Motion March - March madness!
The words “I’ll just"…” are often ones that seem to pass my lips. An idea goes through my mind and the next thing it forms as words coming out of my mouth. When I was younger this landed me in lots of trouble - you see, once I commit to something verbally there’s no going back; I’m not someone who can go back on what I’ve promised and I don’t like to over commit and under deliver.
So having put myself under pressure and subjecting myself to late nights to get things done… the past few years I’ve learned not to offer myself for things too quickly and catch myself before my idea forms as words coming out of my mouth. However, in February, I must have been having a weak moment, because I said to Simon in our planning meeting -
Perhaps I underestimated the amount of work making a video every day would involve, because there has been no “I’ll just” - there has been a lot of hard work. But it has been worth it. I’ve really enjoyed it and we would love to diversify our branding, graphics and website offering to incorporate more lifestyle photography, short films, stop motion to add to the same visual aesthetic for the branding and websites. Having rushes across the header banner of a website is a lovely way to convey what you do and take people on a journey. Stop motion is such a fun way to showcase your products and bring them to life on social media.
